The collaboration with Wrangler took a joke from the finale episode of season 4 of Rick and Morty and turned it into real-life products for fans to enjoy. Anchored in the laser animation - a nod to the episode in which Wrangler jeans were mentioned - Wrangler and Adult Swim collaborated on an exclusive, limited edition line of clothing featuring Rick and Morty. The main product from the initial line - the lasered denim jacket - sold out more than three times during its first two weeks on the Wrangler website.
Partnering with the brand team at Sony Interactive Entertainment and the show unit at Rick and Morty, we built a content plan centered in this content piece featuring the show's namesake duo and the newly-released PlayStation 5 console. The content piece earned 6MM views on YouTube within its first week with ample hype for the collaboration - both by fans and with the press.
